This bill makes technical corrections to a 1981 New York law that incorporated the Sag Harbor Volunteer Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association. It updates outdated terminology (changing 'firemen' to 'firefighters', fixing spelling of 'assistance', updating gender pronouns, and correcting references to sections of the Insurance Law), while leaving the organization's structure, membership rules, purposes, and funding mechanism unchanged.
