Using Citizen

Citizen provides non-partisan legislative information and personalized alignment scoring for civic education. It is provided for informational purposes only.

Accounts & eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to harass or target individuals, and no use that violates applicable law.

Subscriptions

Citizen Pro is purchased through the Apple App Store and managed there. The website reads your subscription tier but does not process payments.
