This bill makes technical amendments to the 1958 incorporation statute for the Islip Terrace Volunteer Exempt Firefighter's Benevolent Association, a local fire district entity in Suffolk County. It updates outdated terminology (e.g., 'Firemen's' to 'Firefighter's', gender-neutral pronouns), corrects statutory references to the insurance law, and broadens the permitted use of collected foreign fire insurance premium taxes to align with the association's general purposes.
