This bill amends the Michigan Family Farm Development Act to update language regarding the authority's ability to issue bonds and notes. It modernizes references to the Uniform Commercial Code, clarifies that bonds and notes are negotiable instruments, exempts them from the Revised Municipal Finance Act, and subjects their issuance to the Agency Financing Reporting Act. The changes are contingent on the passage of a companion bill (HB 6347).
